Well here we are again.

Last night I was extremely bored in the booth and decided randomly to try and sketch something out. I had no idea what I was drawing as I was drawing it, but it turned into something interesting eventually. This is the product of about 45 minutes of boredom.

The problem was, the pencil I was using was one of the crappiest no name Chinese HB pencils I have EVER seen! God damn did that pencil suck! And it was the only pencil available. That pencil was more like trying to sketch lightly with a 6B. That smudged WHEN I BLEW ON IT!! I can't tell you how frustrating it was. All that shading? That was me figuring out through trial and error how to use THE ERASER to smudge in a better pattern because it wouldn't erase anything, just smudge it. Argh. Just remembering my struggles with that pencil fill me with rage.

The picture turned out alright for being such a quick sketch. Not quite the quality I know I can produce though... And I'm bothered by the wings tattooed on her back. I don't think they turned out quite right. They still look a little too 3D, but shading them so that they curved with her back was out of the question given the materials I was stuck working with. I did the best I could.
